The musicians in Hollin Kings grew up in the same town outside of Cleveland, Ohio and bonded over their shared passions for music of the past and present. The dynamic and electric four-piece is comprised of Max Ostrowski [Lead Singer, Guitar], Brandon Kendig [Lead Guitar], Nathan Lapuh [Drums], Dave Royer [Bass] all bringing a unique musical style to the band and have grown comfortable in mashing those individual influences into one huge rock sound that is Hollin Kings.
“With three solid singles in the past six months, the alt-rock band solid ifies its presence on Cleveland’s rock scene with “Hold On.” Come for the heavy riffs and stay for vocalist Max Ostrowski’s pleading, distorted cry, “Don’t let go, just hold on to me.” - Cleveland Magazine
“In case you were wondering, Cleveland still rocks.
For proof, we offer you a Daily Spinn of “Dead and Gone,” the lat est single from The 216’s own Hollin Kings. Released at the tail end of 2019, the single is a high-powered slice of rock and roll, featuring prominent, crunchy guitars and a strong mid-tempo bass groove.”
